Tracy W. Benson, 55, of 3681 Old State Road, Ridgway (Daguscahonda), passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at his home.
He was born July 2, 1966, in St. Marys, son of William C. “Bucky” Benson of Daguscahonda and the late Joyce Wolff Benson, who preceded him in death in 2015. Tracy was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Ridgway High School, Class of 1984. He had worked for Bluewater Thermal Solutions for 25 years.
On August 31, 1990, in St. Marys, Tracy married Cynthia Mattivi, who survives.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his daughter, Jessica Stanley (Keith) of St. Marys; his son, William J. Benson (Angela) of Daguscahonda; his granddaughter, Airyana Scarnati; and by his brother, Jimmy Benson (Suzette) of St. Marys.
Tracy was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching television and being on his computer. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his granddaughter, and enjoyed home life.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral and committal services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
