William P. Doran

William “Pat” Doran, 67, of 135 Wilson Road, St. Marys, passed away with his family by his side, Friday, December 12, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in McKeesport.

He was born July 16, 1958 in Brookville, son of the late Richard Doran and Arlene Taylor Doran, who survives.  He was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1976.  Pat worked at various jobs over the years in retail and the service industry.

On October 8, 1977, in Queen of the World Church, he married Patricia Meyer, who survives.  They were blessed to share forty-eight years of marriage.

In addition to his loving wife and mother, Pat is survived by his two daughters: Kim Jones (Roy) of Wilmington, NC and Crystal Meyer (Josh) of Mt. Lebanon, Pa; three grandchildren: Bailee, Makenzie, and Margo; three sisters: Sis Klaiber of Kersey, Sue Huey of Kersey, and Joann Keller (Tom) of Brandycamp; five brothers: John Doran (Cindy) of Weedville, Tom Doran (Jane) of Brandycamp, Bob Doran of Fort Worth, TX, Jim Doran (Grace) of Brandycamp, and Donald Doran (John Byers) of Linville Falls, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pat thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cinch.  He also looked forward to weekend roadtrips with his wife, enjoying the scenic views of Pennsylvania and New York.

Per Pat’s request, there will be no services.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined.
