Willdean M. “Patty” Wolf, 93, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
She was born October 23, 1932, in St. Marys, daughter of the late George and Margaret Fledderman Burgess.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of St. Marys Area High School.
On January 17, 1953, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, she married Donald Wolf, who survives. Theirs was a true love story. They were devoted to one other from the very start; they met in 9th grade and were blessed to share seventy-three years of marriage.
In addition to her loving husband, Patty is survived by a daughter, Marsha Sidoni (John) of St. Marys and a son, Mark Wolf (Mary) of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren: Julie Yelen (Jeff), Christopher Sidoni (Maria), Jeffrey Sidoni (Rebecca), Abby Paslowski (Jeff), Alison Lenze (Paul), John Volovar (Jocelyn), Alexandra Volovar, and Lauren Wolf; and seven great-grandchildren: Charlie Schaffer, Jack Yelen, Amelia Sidoni, David Sidoni, Dominic Volovar, Ian Volovar, and Callan Pearson; and two sons-in-law, Andrew Volovar of Harrisburg and Michael Marasco of Erie.
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by two daughters, Rhonda Volovar and Donna Marasco; a sister, Doris Curci; and two brothers, Robert and Richard Burgess.
Patty had the sunniest disposition and loved her family more than anything. She was known for her famous New Year’s Day meal and her amazing chocolate cake. She never missed sending greeting cards for a birthday or an anniversary. Pat had a great group of friends and enjoyed playing cards with them. She was also devoted to her faith. She and Don made sure to attend mass every Saturday evening.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 315 Church Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 12:00PM with Rev. Ignatius Camello O.S.B., celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Tuesday September 8, 2026 from 10:30AM until 11:30AM.
Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 315 Church Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 or the Penn Highlands Community Nurses, 757 Johnsonburg Road, Suite 200, St. Marys, PA 15857.
