Thomas L. Pauline, 71, of 98 Mark Lane, Kersey, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 22, 2014, at the UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born October 17, 1942 in St. Marys, son of the late Leon and Marie McDaniels Pauline. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1961. He was a retired employee of SGL, retiring in 2011 after 40 years of service.
On May 13, 1967 in the St. Joseph’s Church in Force, he married Pamela M. Benigni, who survives. He is also survived by a son, Corey Pauline and his wife Charlene of Bridgeville, PA; two grandchildren, James Thomas Pauline and Julia Marie Pauline; and two brothers, Gary Pauline and his wife Jane of State College and Jack Pauline of St. Marys.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Margaret “Mag” Pauline.
Mr. Pauline was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and a lifetime honorary director of the St. Marys Area Quarterback Club. He was an avid fan of Penn State Football and Joe Paterno, he enjoyed local sporting events, and was a Pittsburgh Pirate and Steeler fan. He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed being with his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Friday, June 27, 2014, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday evening, June 26, 2014, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
