Thomas G. Fritz

Thomas G. Fritz, 89, formerly of Chestnut Street, St. Marys, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at the Grand Residence in Upper St. Clair.

He was born July 20, 1937, in Galveston, TX, son of the late Raymond and Bertha Evers Fritz.

He attended Central Catholic High School and Point Park College in Pittsburgh. Tom lived in Warren for ten years where he worked as an accountant for Sylvania and as a credit manager at Blackstone Corporation in Jamestown, NY. He later retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare in Ridgway.

In his younger years Tom spent a lot of time outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tom traveled extensively and took part in the classic car hobby. He was an avid reader and could often be found at the courthouse watching court hearings.

He is survived by numerous cousins and will be greatly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 10:00AM, with Rev. Ignatius Camello, O.S.B. celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 8:45AM until 9:30AM.
