Tamara Kathleen Meyer

Tamara Kathleen Meyer, 43, of 420 Rightmeyer Street, St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 7, 2023 at her residence.

She was born May 3, 1980 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Richard Meyer, who passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, and the late Pauline Rollick Meyer, who preceded her in death on November 26, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1998. She was employed at Eastern Sintered Alloys as a Quality Control Technician for 24 years.

Tamara is survived by her stepmother, Leah of St. Marys; her fiancé, Joe Proesl of St. Marys; her sister, Vicki Johnson (Scott) of St. Marys; her brother, Tony Meyer (Tracy) of Winchester, VA; her beloved nieces and nephew: Kyla and Ava Johnson and Jack Meyer; and her dogs, Peter and Lulu.

Tam enjoyed having girl nights with her fiancé Joe’s granddaughters, Rhia and Quinn, doing their nails and making bracelets. She loved to go crab-catching with his grandsons, Eli and Knox. Holidays and birthdays were her most loved time of year as she treasured finding thoughtful gifts for everyone she loved. Brett Michaels, WWE and being around animals were some of her favorite things. She enjoyed spending quiet nights at home with her dogs.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Tamara and her father, Richard Meyer, will be celebrated on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10:30 AM in the Queen of the World Church with the Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
