Shirley E. Sheeley

March 29, 2012 — August 22, 1934

Shirley E. Sheeley, 77, of 215 Dagus Mines Road, Dagus Mines, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Elk Regional Health Center.

She was born August 22, 1934 in Elbon, PA, daughter of the late Charles E. and Agnes L. Anderson Lyle.  She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of the Horton Twp. High School.  She was a retired employee of Brockway Glass, retiring in 1997 after over 30 years of service.

On January 9, 1960 in Ridgway, she married James E. Sheeley, who survives.  Also surviving are four daughters, Patricia (David) Walker of Kersey, Jamie (Timothy) Sidelinger of Kersey, Lisa (Anthony) Feidler of Kersey, Amy (Robert) Gorton of Dagus Mines; a son, Timothy J. Sheeley at home; three grandchildren, Stephanie Sidelinger and her fiance Nathan Weinzierl, Evan Gorton and Alex Gorton; three sisters, Janet (John) Ruyak of Pottstown, PA, Barbara (Francis) Connacher of Brockport, Marilyn Collins of Pottstown, PA; and a brother Leroy (Gloria) Lyle of Brockway.

Mrs. Sheeley was strong in her faith, put everyone before herself, loved her grandchildren and enjoyed shopping.

Funeral services will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. James Faluszczak, Pastor of St. Boniface Church, officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
