Shirley Ann Klein

September 15, 2013 — June 3, 1936

Shirley Ann Klein, 77, of 417 Old Kersey Road, Kersey, and formerly of Laurel Lane, Kersey, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013, at the UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 3, 1936 in Toby Valley, daughter of the late Angelo and Doris Blick Morelli.  She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Kersey High School, Class of 1955.  She was a former employee of the Stackpole Corporation and worked 25 years at Pinecrest Manor as the Assistant Activities Director.

On February 6, 1960 in the St. Mary’s Church, she married Gerald H. Klein, who survives.  She is also survived by a daughter, Mary Louise Culver and her husband William of Weedville; two grandchildren, Jessie Marche and David Angelo Klein; three step grandsons, William Culver, Seth Culver, and Sean Culver; two great grandchildren, Derek Perry Marche and Brooklyn Rose Marche; two sisters, Audrey June Meredith and her husband Gordon of Prescott Valley, AZ and Sandra Lee Carlson and her husband Gary of Toby; a daughter-in-law, Terri Klein of Ridgway; and by nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Perry G. Klein in 2005.

Mrs. Klein was a member of the St. Boniface Church, the church choir, and she enjoyed arts and crafts.

Due to the renovation of the St. Boniface Church, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at 10:00 AM with the Rev. James Faluszczak officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, from 5:00 till 8:00 PM.
