Savannah O. (Fine) Straub, 23, of 797 Washington Street, St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, July 11, 2012.
She was born January 4, 1989 in Washington County, PA. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 2007. He had also attended Penn State Altoona. She was an employee of Dino’s Place.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Deemer Straub and her fiancé Clyde Wehler of St. Marys; her father, Norman Wayne Fine, Sr. of Pittsburgh; her adoptive father, Kevin R. Straub of Byrnedale; maternal grandmother, Alice Deemer of Weedville; paternal grandparents, Dick and Kitty Straub of St. Marys and Arlene G. Wehler of St. Marys; two step-sisters, Carrie M. Wehler of St. Marys and Natalie Fine of Pittsburgh; a half-sister, Lori Fine of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Nathaniel J. Straub and Ian Christopher Straub, both of St. Marys; and a step-brother, Norman Wayne Fine, Jr. of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James F. Deemer; and her paternal grandparents, James and Opal Fine.
Savannah enjoyed photography, reading and her cat, Nikkita.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
