Rose M. Bish

Rose M. Bish, 86, of 641 Cedar Road, St. Marys, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at her residence, after a lengthy illness.

She was born March 13, 1935, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Clifford Gleixner and Celine Dendorfer Gleixner Thorwart. Rose was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys Catholic Schools.

On October 12, 1957, in the Sacred Heart Church, Rose married James M. Bish, who survives.

She is also survived by her three daughters: Charmaine Lecker and her husband Jeff of St. Marys, Cynthia Santistevan and her husband James of Lusk, WY, and Kristin Bish of St. Marys; two sons: Rick Bish and his wife Julie and Scott Bish and his wife Denise, both of St. Marys; nine grandchildren; and by four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by two brothers: Herbert and Edward Gleixner. She was the last member of her immediate family.

Rose was a member of the Queen of the World Church. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and greatly enjoyed her time spent with her family. Rose was a selfless and loving person, always putting others before herself. She loved animals, especially her dog, Benny.

There will be no visitation.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
