Pauline J. Meyer, 59, of 357 Meyer Road, St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 26, 2012 at her home.
She was born January 9, 1953 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Edward and Kathleen Harlan Rollick. She was a lifelong resident of the area, growing up in Byrnedale, and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1970. She was a former employee of the County of Elk, St. Marys Pharmacy and was part-owner of the former M&M Creations in Ridgway.
On March 10, 1979 in Johnsonburg, she married Richard M. Meyer, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Tamara Meyer of St. Marys; a step-daughter, Vicki (Scott) Johnson of St. Marys; a step-son, Tony (Tracy) Meyer of Stephens City, VA; three grandchildren, Kyla Johnson, Ava Johnson and Jack Meyer; three brothers, Michael (Julia) Rollick of Byrnedale, William (Barb) Rollick of Woodland and Pete Wells of St. Marys.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Katrina Meyer, who passed away in 1974; three sisters, Kathleen “Sonie” Martino, Mary Beth “Shookie” Levenduski and Dixie Gornati; and one brother, Robert Rollick.
Mrs. Meyer was a member of the Queen of the World Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family and was devoted to her Catholic faith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Michael Ferrick, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
