Pauline M. “Polly” Fox, 67, of 802 Washington Street, St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at her home.
She was born September 2, 1946 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Paul and Margie Wicks Herzing. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Elk County Christian High School. She was a former employee of Quality Components.
On July 12, 1969, in St. Leo’s Church, she married Dennis T. “Denny” Fox, who preceded her in death on October 18, 2009.
She is survived by a daughter, Kelly Meyer of St. Marys; a son, Kevin T. Fox and his wife Denise of Emporium; three grandchildren, Kelsey Meyer, Kyle Meyer, and Tyson Howard; a sister, Shauna Herzing of Ridgway; a brother, Edward Herzing and his wife Connie of Ridgway; and a sister-in-law, Starr Fox of Ridgway.
Mrs. Fox was a member of the St. Mary’s Church. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, and her dog, Marley.
There will be no visitation.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held in the St. Mary’s Church on Monday, November 25, 2013, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Thomas More Sikora, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
