Patricia E. Quagliani

Patricia E. Quagliani, 89, of 104 Homestead Road, Kersey, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, at Elk Haven Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.

She was born November 20, 1935, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Henry and Anna Haberberger Eckert.  She was a retired employee of Stackpole Carbon, later Carbone of America, retiring in 1997.

On June 21, 1958, in Queen of the World Church, Patty married William “Pee Wee” Quagliani, who survives.  They were blessed to share more than 66 years of marriage.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Kenneth Quagliani and his wife Jennifer of St. Marys; two granddaughters, Kali and Lindsey; and by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by four sisters: Leona Fritz, Geraldine Bille, Kathryn Herbstritt, and Jane Yetzer; and by eight brothers: Richard, James, Floyd, Thomas, Arthur, Carl, Raymond, and Donald Eckert.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Patty was a member of the St. Boniface Church, the St. Boniface Rosary Society, the Fox Township Senior Center, and the North Central Pennsylvania Polka Boosters.  She enjoyed dancing, watching sports, and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at St. Boniface Church, with Rev. Mark Mastrian, celebrating.  Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received at the St. Boniface Church Gathering Space on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 9:00AM until the time of the Mass.
