Patricia G. Pierson

Patricia G. Pierson, 82, a resident of Pinecrest Manor, formerly of 115 Cherry Road, Kersey, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Pinecrest Manor, after a lengthy illness.

She was born November 23, 1939, in DuBois, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Marando Cammarata.  Patricia grew up in DuBois, was a graduate of St. Catherine High School, Class of 1958, moved to Elk County in 1970, and retired from Brockway Glass after 34 years of service.

 On February 20, 1960, in St. Catherine Church in DuBois, Patricia married Albert E. Pierson, who survives.  They were blessed to share 62 years of marriage together.

Along with her loving husband, she is survived by three daughters: Susan Bennett (Scott) of Byrndale, Lisa LaPierre (Gerard) of Kersey, and Joyce Fields (Carey) of Brockport; by seven grandchildren: Tiffany McCartney (Chris), Tamara Bleggi (Brian), Albert Bennett, Gina Bennett, Jessica Fields, Kari Ann Fields and Brian Fields (Courtney); by several great-grandchildren; and by her sister, Joan Munn of Penfield.

Patricia was a member of the St. Boniface Church.  She enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, and gardening.  Family was most important to Patricia, she cherished each moment with them.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Ross Miceli, Pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held in the St. Boniface Church Gathering Space on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass.
