Mary Louise Reuscher

Mary Louise Reuscher, 93 of St. Marys, passed away peacefully Monday, April 20, 2026 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born October 18, 1932 in St. Marys, daughter of the late John and Catherine Ortenzi Marconi.  She spent the majority of her life in St. Marys and was graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1950.

On April 24, 1954, in Erie, Mary Louise married the late William E. Reuscher, who preceded her in death on August 9, 2009.

She is survived by two daughters: Denise Kotsones (James) of Dexter, MI, and Victoria Roche (Bill) of Missoula, MT; six sons: Craig Reuscher of St. Marys, Michael Reuscher (Kathy) of St. Marys, Paul Reuscher (Bonnie) of Hendersonville, NC, Steve Reuscher (Marianne) of Ridgway, Martin Reuscher (Lynn) of Knoxville, TN , and Jeff Reuscher (Susan) of Camp Hill, PA ; ten grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Allen Reuscher; by one granddaughter, Samantha Reuscher; her sisters: Sr. Victoria Marconi, OSB, Elizabeth Mascuilli, Loretta Langton, and Theresa Marconi; and by her brother John Marconi.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mary Louise loved visiting with her grandchildren and traveling with friends to various cities in the United States. She was a devoted mother, whose love was the foundation of our family.  She believed giving is a matter of the heart, for it is giving that we receive.

Mary Louise loved making her surroundings beautiful and welcoming for family and friends.  She was never fully dressed without her jewelry and loved finding the perfect accessory to complete an outfit.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 10:00AM with Rev. Ignatius Camello, O.S.B., celebrating.  Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.  A luncheon will be held in the Sacred Heart Social Hall immediately following Mass.

There will be no visitation.
