Mary Martha Halloran, 94, a resident of the St. Marys Home in Erie and formerly of 131 Oilwell Street, St. Marys, passed away early Sunday morning, February 26, 2012, at the St. Marys Home East in Erie, PA.
She was born June 30, 1917 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Welsh Fehley. She had been a resident of the St. Marys Home since 2002. She was a graduate of the St. Benedict’s Academy and was a former employee of the Speer Carbon Company.
On August 7, 1946 in the Sacred Heart Church, she married Francis B. Halloran who preceded her in death on July 21, 1996.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger P. Fehley on June 4, 1999.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Halloran was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, volunteered as a secretary at the Sacred Heart Rectory and did volunteer work for the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Eric Vogt OSB, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
