Mary E. Beck, age 91, of Hemlock Road, St. Marys, died Saturday evening, February 24, 2018 at the Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys following a brief illness.
She was born May 17, 1926, in Penfield, daughter of the late Earl T. and Mary L. (Beck) Dean. She was raised in Penfield and graduated from High School in Shinglehouse, PA. In 1957 she married Raymond Beck, who preceded her in death in 1982. Prior to her marriage she worked at the Olean, NY Tile Plant. Mary was Protestant by faith.
She was also preceded in death by their only daughter, Valerie Beck in August of 2002, as well as two sisters, Edna and Shirley. Surviving is one sister, Gloria Dean of Coudersport, PA, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home in St. Marys on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Luther Nelson, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Ridgway.
