Mark R. Mattivi, 51, of 108 Meadow Lane, Kersey, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 10, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 15, 1960 in St. Marys, son of the late John A. and Rita A. Catalone Mattivi. He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys Schools. He was an employee of SGL Carbon Company.
He is survived by two sisters, Cynthia (Tracy) Benson of Daguscahonda, Jennifer Keniston and her fiancée Kevin Wolfel of St. Marys; three brothers, Timothy J. (Diane) Mattivi of St. Marys, John A. Mattivi, Jr. and his friend Cindy Szymanski of Kersey, James A. Mattivi of Kersey; nine
nieces and nephews, Brittany and Daniel Brendel, Jessica Kilhoffer, William Benson, Ashley Mattivi, Gage Keniston, Jazlin Keniston, Casey Rohrback and James Rohrback; by three great nieces, McKinnley, Airyana and Madalynn; and by two great nephews, Hunter and Austin.
Mark was a member of the St. Marys American Legion and the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to see the Confederate Railroad and running the soundboard for Sixpak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Boniface Church on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB officiating. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
