Margaret S. "Peggy" O'Donnell

Margaret S. “Peggy” O’Donnell, 79, of 135 Goetz Drive, St. Marys, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Pinecrest Manor.

She was born September 29, 1942, in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Hill Kearney. Peggy graduated as a graphic artist in 1960 from Bok Vocational High School in Philadelphia and had been a resident of St. Marys since 1992.

On November 18, 1961, in Philadelphia, Peggy married William H. O’Donnell, Jr., who survives.

She is also survived by her daughter, Maureen Miller and her husband LeRoy of St. Marys; her son, William H. O’Donnell, III and his fiancée Mary John of St. Marys; three grandchildren: Mark Anderson, Abby Cooney, and Jacquelyn Hoisington; three great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Andrew “Duke” Kearney and his wife Barbara of Philadelphia.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by a brother, Harold “Butch” Kearney, Jr.

Peggy was a very talented artist, especially enjoying ceramic and wood crafts.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral and committal services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
