Lauren K. Storer, 64, of 132 Terrace Road, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Pinecrest Manor after a lengthy illness.
She was born April 18, 1950 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Raymond “Jack” and Virginia Webster Schauer. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1968. She was also a 1972 graduate of Lock Haven University. She was a former teacher at Sacred Heart School and a former employee of Pfaff’s Market.
On July 19, 1975 in the St. Mary’s Church, she married William H. Storer, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Thorwart and her husband Trevor of St. Marys; a granddaughter, Madelyn Thorwart; and a brother, Raymond Schauer and his wife Colleen of Hermitage, PA.
Mrs. Storer was a member of the St. Mary’s Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Church on Friday, November 14, 2014, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Alfred Patterson, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, November 13, 2014, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
