Larry L. Harlan, 72, of 101 Frey Road, Kersey, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 4, 1942 in St. Marys, son of the late Aileen Harlan. He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys Schools. He was a retired employee of SGL, retiring in 2001 after 32 years of service.
On May 22, 1971 in St. Marys, he married Mary Ann Frey, who survives. He is also survived by three sons, Michael J. Harlan and his wife Jean of Ridgway, Terry J. Harlan of Kersey, and Edward A. Harlan and his wife Heather of Ridgway; 12 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a brother, Darwin Harlan and his wife Alice of DuBois.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step father, Jay Wonderling; and a sister, Carol Ann “Cory” Hedlund.
Mr. Harlan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Funeral services will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday, December 15, 2014, at 1:00 PM, with the Rev. David Nagele, chaplain of Penn Highlands DuBois, officiating. Burial will follow in the Earleyville Cemetery in Kersey.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
