Joseph F. Ehrensberger, 69, of 114 Cadillac Road, St. Marys, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, July 24, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.
He was born November 11, 1942 in St. Marys, son of the late Joseph A. Ehrensberger, who passed away in 2001, and Clara B. Speaker Ehrensberger who survives of St. Marys. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Public High School, Class of 1961. He was also a graduate of Triangle Tech. in DuBois. He was a retired employee of Keystone Carbon Company, retiring after 42 years of service.
On June 10, 1961 in the St. Mary’s Church, he married Carol A. Bauer, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Jill (Michael) Raubenstrauch of Ridgway; two sons, Dean Ehrensberger of St. Marys and Richard (Laura) Ehrensberger of St. Marys; and seven grandchildren, Ryan Ehrensberger, Jessica Raubenstrauch, Jordan Raubenstrauch, Joshua Raubenstrauch, Josie Raubenstrauch, Rachel Ehrensberger and Madalyn Ehrensberger.
Mr. Ehrensberger was a member of the Queen of the World Church. He enjoyed archery, hunting, golfing, going to camp, breakfast at DD’s Bakery and telling jokes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Michael
Ferrick, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
