Jay Patrick “Gigi” Notarianni of Wilcox, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022. He was adored by his wife, children, family and friends as they were by him.
He was born March 2, 1970, in St. Marys, son of the late Louis “Gigi” and Carol Baum Notarianni. Jay was a lifelong resident of the area, a graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School, Class of 1988, and attended Penn State University.
Jay was an outstanding husband, father, brother, and uncle and a great and loyal friend. He loved his family and friends fiercely. He was an extremely hard worker, a skilled journeyman and Union Local 9 bricklayer, a dedicated volunteer firefighter, an excellent cook, a gracious host and so much more. He was politically passionate, smart, ambitious, kind, supportive and always willing to lend a hand. He was fun and full of life, and he spread his love and joy to others through his bright blue eyes and his big, contagious laugh. He was an amazing person with a strong spirit and a sensitive heart, and he will be missed more than words can say. May God bless his friends and family with strength, peace, and comfort.
He is survived by his cherished wife of 11 years, Vanessa Castano of Wilcox; his beloved children Mason Notarianni of St. Marys and Cheyenne Notarianni (and Patrick Desmond) of Wilcox; and his step-granddaughter Willa Desmond.
