Jason P. McCandless

Jason P. McCandless, 51, of Dagus Mines Road, Kersey, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 22, 2026 at his residence.

He was born September 9, 1974 in Ridgway, son of the late James W. and Debora Stahli McCandless.

He is survived by a son, Colby McCandless (Amanda Earnest) of St. Marys; a sister, Jolen Ott (Eric) of St. Marys; and two brothers: James McCandless (Judy) of Auburn, NY and Jesse McCandless of St. Marys.

Jason was previously employed at GKN and found enjoyment fishing, watching football-especially Penn State football, and the New York Yankees.

Services for Jason will be held privately by the family.
