Harold L. “Knocker” Feldbauer

December 15, 2012 — June 3, 1920

Harold L. “Knocker” Feldbauer, 92, of 335 Spruce Street, St. Marys, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born June 3, 1920 in St. Marys, son of the late George and Josephine Kaiser Feldbauer.  He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys Schools.  He was retired co-owner of the former Feldbauer & Uhl Plumbing Company, where he had worked for over 25 years.

On November 8, 1952 in Virginia, he married Lillian Unsworth Miller Feldbauer who preceded him in death on January 2, 2000.

He is survived by a step daughter, Doris Skok of Everett, WA; four grandchildren, Marilyn Skok, Tommy Skok, Laurie Roughton and Sherry Vandersnick; five great grandchildren; and a nephew, Ronald W. (Patricia) Feldbauer, Sr. of St. Marys.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Monica Herzing, Rita Hogan, Mary Feile; and five brothers, Romandus “Bud” Feldbauer, Herman Feldbauer, Raymond Feldbauer, Clarence Feldbauer and Francis Feldbauer.  He was the last member of his immediate family.

Mr. Feldbauer was a member of the CMF, PFL and the St. Joseph’s Society.  He served in the Army during WWII as a sergeant in Europe in the 101st field artillery, 26th Yankee Division.

There will be no visitation.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Ridgway.
