Geraldine C. DeLoge, 92, a resident of Pinecrest Manor, and formerly of 132 Random Road, Chapel Village, St. Mary, passed away early Thursday morning, September 12, 2013 at the Pinecrest Manor following a lengthy illness.
She was born November 30, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Albert and Mae LaFeve Zielan. She was a graduate of the Henry Ford High School in Dearborn, MI, and had resided in St. Marys since 1963. She had worked as the Personnel Director for the former Grant’s Store in St. Marys, was active and held many positions at the St. Marys Senior Center, and was extremely active in the business world.
On March 23, 1940 in the St. Barbara’s Church in Dearborn, MI, she married Archie A. DeLoge who preceded her in death on September 21, 1990.
She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte M. DeLoge of St. Marys; two granddaughters, Lori Anne Villa of Greencastle, PA and Carrie Andrews of Baltimore, MD; and two great granddaughters, Linzi of Baltimore, MD and Juliana of Laramie, WY.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Mrs. DeLoge was a member of the Queen of the World Church.
There will be no visitation.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
