Francis “Frank” Heary, 78, a resident of the Haverilla Personal Care Home in Rossiter, PA, and formerly of St. Marys, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at the Haverilla Personal Care Home.
He was born March 5, 1939, in St. Marys, son of the late Edward J. and Estella M. Haggerty Heary. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1958, and a 1963 graduate of Williamsport Technical Institute. Frank was a former employee of Carbon City Products.
He is survived by a sister, Janet Wolfe and her husband Richard L. of St. Marys; and by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by three sisters, Marian Walker, Audrey Heary, and Alice Stubler; and by three brothers, Jerome, Richard, and Edward Heary.
There will be no visitation.
Due to the renovations of the Sacred Heart Church, family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Activity Center on Friday, July 14, 2017, at 12:00 PM, with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
