Elizabeth Mae Stefano, 72, of 164 State Street, St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 6, 2016, at the UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born January 9, 1944, in Cambridge, OH, daughter of the late Melvin R. and Leota Redd Gray, Sr. She attended schools in Cambridge, OH and had resided in St. Marys since 1970. She was an employee of NCR in Ohio and Murphy’s and Ames in St. Marys.
On January 9, 1960, in Cambridge, OH, she married Thomas J. Stefano, Sr., who preceded her in death on September 7, 2011.
Elizabeth is survived by three daughters, Anna M. Yonker and her husband Dan of Ridgway, Beth Anne Malburg and her husband Jeff of St. Marys, and Lisa A. Selle and her husband Pat of Ridgway; three sons, Michael R. Stefano of Alum Bridge, WV, Thomas J. Stefano, Jr. and his wife Jean of St. Marys, and Mark L. Stefano and his wife Jennifer of Wilton, IA; 19 grandchildren, Michael Stefano, Alisha (Scott) Lowe, Melissa Stefano Craig, Stephen (Tricia) Joshnick, Derrick Schloder, Sheena (Matt) Patrick, Heather Selle, Desirae (Jack) Urmann, David Joshnick, John Renaud, Jessica Stefano, Amber Brendel Smith, Tricia Selle (James) Wonderly, Kayla Richards, Patrick Fosjord, Marlee Caldwell, Amberleigh Stefano, Thomas J. Stefano III, and Tiauna Stefano; 24 great grandchildren; a sister, Cynthia Bertubin and her husband Manny of Cambridge, OH; and a brother, Melvin Gray, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Cambridge, OH.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Moore and Deborah Ann Gray in infancy.
Elizabeth loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and playing her games on her tablet.
Funeral services will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Tim Hoover, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakelawn Cemetery in Reynoldsville.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
