Dorothy E. Terry, 89, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of 418 Ash Street, St. Marys, passed away peacefully at Pinecrest Manor, Friday, January 30, 2026.
She was born July 24, 1936, in St. Marys, daughter of the late William and Monica Fritz Ryden. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1954 and spent twelve years as a secretary at Stackpole Carbon Company and eighteen years as a clerk at Johnson’s Grocery.
On June 19, 1965, in the Sacred Heart Church, she married Willis L. “Bill” Terry, who survives. They were blessed to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this past year.
In addition to her loving husband, Bill, she is survived by three daughters: Sally Condon (Jim) of St. Marys, Ann Marie Feigh (Tom) of Yorktown, Virginia, and Sandy Young (Mike) of Yorktown, Virginia; eight grandchildren: Brittany Urmann (George), Rachel Auman, Sophia and Olivia Condon, Andrew Feigh (Ashley), Tyler Feigh (Taylor), Kaitlyn Hatfield (Heath), and Lauren Young; six great-grandchildren: Noah, Jacob, Liam, Louis, and Mary Urmann and Camilla Feigh. Dorothy was also survived by many cousins and numerous nieces and nephews, whom proudly called her “Aunt Dorothy”.
Dorothy was a faithful parishioner at Sacred Heart Church where she also taught CCD for fifteen years. She was a member of the St. Anne’s Society and the Shepherds of Christ, Associates. She could be found volunteering her time at Sacred Heart School and sharing her baking skills at the bake sales. Above everything else, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a cherished grandmother. Her family was the center of her life and she gave her love freely and generously.
Dorothy resided at Pinecrest Manor the past four years of her life. During that time, she shared her loveable disposition and smile with the dedicated Pinecrest Manor staff.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 10:00AM. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to a favorite charity of one’s choosing.
