Diane M. Baumer, 83, of 150 Lynch Road, St. Marys, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Penn Highlands Elk.
She was born in St. Marys on New Years Day in 1943. She was the daughter of the late George E. and Martha Auman Baumer. She was a lifelong resident of St. Marys, a graduate of Elk County Catholic High School, Class of 1960, and retired from SGL as an accountant after 40 years, 6 months, and 2 weeks of service to the company.
Diane is survived by her brothers: George Baumer of Holidaysburg, PA and Timothy Baumber of Wheatland, PA; a brother-in-law, Jack Rupprecht; niece and nephew: Erin Peters (Dale) and John Rupprecht; great-niece and great-nephew: Jessica Barkley (Jon) and Damian Peters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Rupprecht and two brothers in infancy, David and Joseph.
Diane was a faithful parishioner of Queen of the World Church where she also contributed her voice in the choir. She was a member of the Lions Club and enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. She cherished her time with her family and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11:00AM with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 9:30AM until 10:30AM.
Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to a favorite charity of one’s choosing.
