Daniel J. Geiser

Daniel J. Geiser, 61, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Highland View Health Care Center.

He was born January 10, 1965 in St. Marys, son of the late John Geiser and Germaine Grasser Geiser, who survives.

He was a lifelong resident of the area, a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, a veteran of the United States Army, and formerly employed at Walmart.

In addition to his mother, Dan is survived by his wife Kate Bender; three sisters: Debbie Rettger of St. Marys, Gloria Thomas of Maryland, and Diane Baumgratz (Mark) of St. Marys; two brothers: John Geiser and Scott Geiser (Donna), both of Kersey; and many nieces and nephews.

Dan found great joy in exploring new places and creating memories through travel.  Discovering somewhere new brought him great joy.

A devoted sports fan, Dan rarely missed a race and enjoyed following NASCAR throughout the years.  Sundays during football season were often spent cheering on his favorite sports team, sharing the excitement of the game with family and friends.

Above all else, he treasured time he spent with those he loved.  He will be remembered for his kindness and care he showed to others.  He will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 10:00AM with Rev. Thomas Curry, O.S.B., officiating.  Full military rites will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen’s Burial Detail.  Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
