Criag Singer

Craig Singer, 78, of Kersey, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026.  He was the son of Merle and Ramona Boitano Singer.

Craig was the owner of Singer Logging and Lumber of Kersey, Director of Veterans Affairs-Elk County, and the Director of the Disabled Veterans Outreach Program through the United States Department of Labor.

Craig loved everything related to the veterans, having served proudly in the Vietnam War. He was past president of the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 720, the Fox Township American Legion, Post 511, and instrumental in bringing the Moving Wall to Elk County.  He was an Eagle Scout and involved in all aspects of the scouting program, including those at Camp Mountain Run.  He enjoyed hunting and spending time with friends.

Craig is survived by Sheila Singer; their son, Tim (Julie) and his children: Alexis (Ty), Jade (Sam) and TJ; their daughter, Tracy (Tony) and their son, Jack; their son, Traves (Kerri) and his children: Breonna and Hailey, and great-grandson, Tayte.  Craig is also survived by his brother, Mark (Rita).

In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by two brothers: Michael and Jerry Singer.

Funeral services for Craig will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 371 Main Street, Kersey, PA 15846 at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026.  Full military rites will be accorded by the Fox Township Servicemen’s Burial Detail.

There will be no visitation.
