Carol L. Ginther, 67, of 327 Main Street, Kersey, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at her residence, after a brief illness.
She was born June 4, 1954, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Richard and Lorenza Hoak Lecker. Carol was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1972.
On July 14, 1973, in the Queen of the World Church, Carol married Donald C. Ginther, who survives. They shared 48 years of marriage together.
She is also survived by two daughters: Dawn Erich (Christopher) of Ridgway and Julie Lundy (Casey) of North Carolina; two sons: Russ Ginther (Lupita) of Arizona and Neil Ginther (Caryn) of Wilcox; 12 grandchildren: Jared, Amber, Maxwell, Austin, Lindsey, Ian, Paige, Tyson, Mia, Gabriella, Ava, and Hoak; four sisters: Anita Belleau of St. Marys, Martha Lecker of St. Marys, Nancy Neal of North Carolina, and Mary Lou Lecker of Glen Campbell, PA; and by two brothers: Richard Lecker (Sutton) of Johnsonburg and Herbert Lecker of Johnsonburg.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Paul Belleau.
Carol was a member of the St. Boniface Church and was a devout Catholic. She was a role model of kindness. She enjoyed traveling the country with her husband. She lived for her family, friends, and faith. She will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Boniface Church on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Ross Miceli, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM.
