Carol Rose Cunningham, 76, of 209 Robin Road, St. Marys, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Penn Highlands Elk, after a brief illness.
She was born July 24, 1944, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Paul E. Roth and Frances Rose Eckert Roth Fye. Carol was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys Public Schools.
On June 2, 1962, in the Queen of the World Church, she married Donald J. Cunningham, who survives.
In addition to her loving husband, Carol is survived by four daughters: Donna Holley of St. Marys, Deborah VanAlstine (Keith) of St. Marys, Yvette Reid ( Romaine) of Oakley, CA, and Christie Wittman (Bill) of St. Marys; two sons: Donald J. Cunningham, Jr. (Renee) of St. Marys and Dennis Cunningham (Barb) of St. Marys; thirteen grandchildren: Jessie Saline, Casie Gualinone, Allicia Holley, Drew VanAlstine, Gwen Bauer, Zachary Reynado, Alex Reynado, Max Reynado, Cameron Resch, Maddy Wittman, Raylyn Cunningham, Courtney Cunningham, and Marissa Kleiman; thirteen great-grandchildren; and by one sister: Kathleen Eozzo (Robert) of St. Marys.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Leroy “Roy” Fye, and her sister, Pauline Roth in infancy.
Carol was a member of Queen of the World Church. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, and spending time with her family at camp in Potter County.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at the Queen of the World Church on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
