Bernice A. Krivonyak, 55, of 136 Hollow Street, Kersey, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 6, 2014, at her home.
She was born January 12, 1959 in New Haven, CT, daughter of the late Rudolph Gornati and Elizabeth Shadd Gornati, who survives of Kersey. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School. She was currently employed at Walmart.
On April 20, 1979 in the St. Boniface Church, she married Michael J. Krivonyak, who survives. She is also survived by three sons, Timothy Krivonyak and his wife Laura of Bradford, Adam Krivonyak and David Krivonyak, both at home; one granddaughter, Jocelyn Krivonyak; and three brothers, Raymond Gornati and his wife Beth of St. Marys, David Gornati and his wife Julie of Kersey, and Steven Gornati and his wife Crystal of Kersey.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, who passed away in infancy.
Mrs. Krivonyak was a member of the St. Boniface Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, ceramics, crocheting, and especially spending time with her family.
Due to the renovation of the St. Boniface Church, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Monday, February 10, 2014, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. James Faluszczak officiating. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Sunday evening (2/9/2014) from 6:00 till 8:00 PM.
