Arnold Arthur Miller

Arnold Arthur Miller, 77, of 351 Coal Hollow Road, Kersey, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 20, 2015, at his residence.

He was born April 8, 1938, in Waukesha, WI, son of the late John Elliot and Anna Mae Clark Miller.  He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Kersey schools.  He was a retired employee of Pure Carbon/Morgan AM & T, retiring in 2003 after 47 years of service.

On January 21, 1961, in the Maria Lutheran Church, he married Irene I. Oertly, who survives.  He is also survived by two daughters, Kelly D’Amore and her husband Mike of St. Marys and Carol Eckert of Kersey; two sons, LeRoy E. Miller and his wife Maureen of St. Marys and Arnold J. “A.J.” Miller and his wife Cindy of Johnsonburg; ten grandchildren, Michael Rettger, Tyler Rettger, Shawn Miller, Ashlei Harrington, Joseph Eckert, James Eckert, Abby Cooney, Mark Anderson, Keila Miller, and Trevor Miller; ten great grandchildren; a brother, Clark D. Miller and his wife Beverly of Brockway; and a sister-in-law, Janet Miller of Brockway.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Rettger; a great grandson; and two brothers, James and John Miller.

Mr. Miller enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading westerns, and he loved to sit on his front porch and wave at everyone passing by.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Brad Brunner officiating.  Burial will be in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Ridgway.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
