Ann E. Hansen, 90, a resident of Silver Creek Terrace, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Penn Highlands Elk, after a brief illness.
She was born May 5, 1927, at her home in Grassflat, PA, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Terry. She was a graduate of Clearfield Schools and had been a resident of St. Marys since 1950. Ann was a retired employee of Pure Carbon and in later years was an employee of Walmart.
On July 5, 1947, in Lanse, PA, Ann married Raymond G. Hansen. They were happily married for 38 years until he passed away on April 27, 1985.
Ann is survived by a daughter, Sharon Adamski and her husband Richard of Winston Salem, NC; three sons, Dean W. Hansen and his wife Paula of St. Marys, Dennis R. Hansen and his wife Chris of St. Marys, and David L. Hansen and his wife Ann of Kersey; eight grandchildren, Beth Adamski, Luke Adamski, Derreck Hansen, Kelsey Hansen, Nathan Hansen, Alexa Steudler, Bryan Hansen, and Hayden Hansen; and by one great granddaughter, Sora Adamski.
In addition to her husband and parent, Ann was preceded in death by eight brothers. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Ann attended the Shiloh Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the St. Marys First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service and celebration of her life to be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Tim Hoover officiating. Burial will be in the St. Marys Protestant Cemetery.
