Alice C. Murray, 86, of 108 Lovers Lane, Kersey, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at her residence.
She was born December 11, 1929, in Kersey, daughter of the late Clyde and Caroline Anzinger Mosier. She was a lifelong resident of Kersey and was a graduate of Kersey High School, Class of 1947. She was a retired employee of Sylvania, where she had worked for over 30 years.
On October 16, 1948, in the St. Boniface Church, she married Ambrose B. Murray, who preceded her in death in 2002.
Alice is survived by two daughters, Mary Lee Mertz and her husband Gary of St. Marys and Teresa Murray of St. Marys; three sons, Michael Murray and his wife Connie of Summerville, SC, Terry Murray of St. Marys, and Tim Murray of Kersey; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Fay Feldbauer; a sister, Marie Micale; and a brother, Charles Mosier. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Alice was a member of the St. Boniface Church. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and she loved her puppy, Hairy.
There will be no visitation.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services to be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2016, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Ross Miceli officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
