Alice A. Gorman, 87, 253 Brusselles Street, St. Marys, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020, at her residence.
She was born December 16, 1933, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Frank J. and Helen Lanzel Krellner. Alice was a graduate of Central Catholic High School as well as Penn State University. She was a business teacher for many years in the Erie area and worked locally as a bookkeeper and interior decorator. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church.
On August 22, 1964, in the Sacred Heart Church, Alice married William D. Gorman, who preceded her in death on October 12, 1989.
She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Susan E. Gorman of Atlanta, GA; her niece, Karen Martin and her husband Thomas of Erie; and by her nephew, Brian Volker of Clarion.
In addition to her husband and parents, Alice was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Jane Krellner in 1951 and Mary T. Volker in 2012; and by a brother, James Krellner in 2010. She was the last member of her immediate family.
There will be no visitation.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Monday, December 21, 2020, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Michael Gabler, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
