Aldo Morelli, 85, of 188 South Kersey Road, Kersey, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 3, 2022, at his home.
He was born March 7, 1936, in Weedville, son of the late Arthuro and Secondia Flaim Morelli. Aldo was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Weedville High School. He was a retired employee of Stackpole Carbon Company as well as St. Marys Carbon.
On June 16, 1956, in the St. Boniface Church, Aldo married Mildred M. “Millie” Wildnauer, who preceded him in death on September 30, 2021.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Motta (Jeff) of Pittsburgh; his son, Ronald Morelli (Veronica) of Kersey; four grandchildren: Christina Nuar (Matthew), Daniel Morelli, Michael Motta (Amanda), and Mary Ann Motta; three great-grandchildren: Isaac, Theo, and Izzy Nuar; and by his brother, Livio Morelli (Jenny) of Ridgway.
Aldo was a member of the St. Boniface Church, where he also served on the parish council. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Fox Township Lions Club, and the Fox Township Senior Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Boniface Church on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Ross Miceli, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday morning, from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM.
