Alan F. Fox

Alan F. Fox, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025 at home on hospice care after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. 

Born to James C. and Dorothy “Bunny” Nussbaum Fox, Alan grew up with a love for the outdoors that never faded. He was happiest camping under the stars, swimming in the creek, or just spending time outside surrounded by nature. He had a deep love for anything and everything camo- if it came in camo, he probably owned it and paired it with a bandana. 

Alan was known for his stubborn streak and strong will, traits that served him well through his cancer journey, and ones his daughter proudly carries on.  

He is survived by his children: Brittney (Zac) Wolfe and Dustin Fox, and a proud Papa to four grandchildren: Knox, Charlie, Navie, and Noa Wolfe, who brought him endless joy; his mother, Dorothy “Bunny” Fox; his brothers, Dean (Deb), Rick (Jill), and his sister Renee (Joe). He was preceded in death by his father, James C. Fox, and his infant son, Robert. 

His spirit will live on in the woods he loved, the family he raised, and the stubbornness he passed down.

Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 3:00PM until 5:00PM with a funeral service to follow at 5:00PM in the funeral home.
