Agnes J. Fox, 95, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of Queens Road, St. Marys, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016, at Pinecrest Manor after a brief illness.
She was born December 11, 1920, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Sylvester and Elizabeth Auman Wilhelm. She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys Schools. She was a retired employee of Powder Metal Products, retiring in 1982.
On October 7, 1945, in the St. Mary’s Church, she married Leroy George Fox, who preceded her in death on December 26, 1968.
Mrs. Fox is survived by a son, David A. Fox and his wife Darlene “Doll” of St. Marys; three grandchildren, Brett (Cheryl) Fox, Brad (Donna) Fox, and Kerry (Joe) Perkins; three great grandchildren, Drew Fox Perkins, Avery Rose Perkins, and Thomas Brendan Fox; one step great grandchild, Erin Rae Brock; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Leona Randolph, Delphine Feldbauer, Caroline Greenthaner, Mary Wilhelm, and Clara Fox; and by three brothers, Isadore Wilhelm, Joseph Wilhelm, and Walter Wilhelm. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Fox was a member of the Queen of the World Church and volunteered at the Queen of the World School cafeteria.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Monday, February 22, 2016, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Richard Allen, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 AM.
