Betty was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time playing Mah Jongg with her friends and family. She was a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers and enjoyed watching Jeopardy. She often would know the answers before anyone was finished reading the question. She was proud to be a native of St. Marys and would often be seen on her porch enjoying the weather, reading, or listening to a baseball game. Above all else, her faith and family were most important to her. She loved travelling the country to visit her children and grandchildren, she was so proud of her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Thomas Curry, OSB, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

I remember the first time that I met her , I was 6 or 7 and my dad took me up to the house and the whole family went. She was just such a whole hearted and nice lady and I loved her since the day I met her. I remember everyone as a family playing cards at the table and she prepared a dessert pizza that I had never had before. This lady’s kindness and ability to cook brought a warmth to my heart and I wouldn’t know this world without her. I love you Mimi Betty
