Christina M. "Tina" Sette | 57

April 25, 1966 - September 7, 2023

Christina “Tina” Sette (Herbstritt), 57, of 960 Windfall Road, St. Marys, died on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital, after a hard fought battle with breast cancer.

She was born on April, 25, 1966, in St. Marys, a daughter of Nancy and Robert Caskey.  She was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1984.

On August 12, 2017 in the Chapel at Las Vegas, she married Nick Sette, who survives. 

Tina had a tremendous work ethic but also made sure to enjoy all that life had to offer.  She enjoyed bowling, gambling, and playing board games with family and friends while enjoying ice cold IC Lights. She loved weekends at camp, playing Words with Friends, the Dallas Cowboys and weekend trips to her daughter’s house.  She had a smile that lit up the room and an infectious laugh that would spread throughout any group she was with.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children; Megan Meyer (Herbstritt) and Nicos Sette of St. Marys, three sisters; Karen Bishop (Resch), Moe Eck and her husband Bill, and Deb Pichler and her husband Steve, all of St. Marys.  She is also survived by two nieces; Lauren Resch and Bryson Bishop as well as numerous Aunts and Uncles.

She was preceded in death by one brother Bryan Resch and her maternal grandmother, Ann Donahue.

Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM.

Funeral services will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 10:00AM.

  1. Nick, my condolences to you and your family. Tina was kind hearted and always made you laugh I used to bowl with her.

  2. I was truly inspired by the love and devotion demonstrated by her family and friends. She is one of the strongest women I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Tina was a fiercely independent woman, but I know she appreciated every one of you. Lean into one another in this time of grief and know she is with you always. Have an IC light for me.

  3. I was truly saddened when I learned of Tina’s passing. My heartfelt condolences for all her relations. She was a strong, compassionate soul. While the world dimmed a little with her passing she is now in a better place.

    Shari went to elementary school for a few years with Tina, then they met again in college where I then met Tina. We had a Blast! Anytime we ran into her after there were always laughs and smiles. Though we didn’t see her often enough her passing effects us deeply. Our hearts break for all of you. Deepest Sympathy

    You all have been like second family to Mike, I and the girls. Tina was one of a kind, happy all the time, energetic and a wonderful person and friend. we will miss her tremendously. Will always remember the great Memorial Day parties at camp and trips to Indiana Holiday Inn every winter, as well as the wonderful friendship we had with her.   21. Tina and I were good friends in grade school and our birthdays were 2 days apart. We were good friends through our grade school years and even though we went to different high schools, we still saw each other from time to time. From sleep overs, to skating at the Roller Rama, to birthday parties and just hanging out, I have a lot of wonderful memories of her. To her family – please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Drs, hospitals, surgeons, plastic surgeons, specialists, etc. etc. Tina had the best smile in class and always was a good friend to have in school.   29. Tina was a nice girl who I worked with for a short time… I always would stop in her office and say hi and ask how ya doing girl.. of course she always said hanging in there Moe!! I always enjoyed seeing her smiling face and laugh!!! I knew she fought hard on the battle of cancer!!! And always told her I’m here for ya if you need someone to talk to….my deepest sympathy to her family. I will miss her!
