Share Obituary
Trey Pavel Anderson, 18, of St. Marys, took his own life on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Trey was born January 28, 2004, in Surgut, West Siberia, Russia and was adopted into his forever family by his loving parents, Rodney and Amy Troha Anderson; his sister, Janae Anderson; and an extended family who loved him unconditionally.
Besides his parents and sister, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Stanley and June Anderson of Kersey; his puppy, Daisy; and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bob and Mimi Troha.
Although the world will never understand his pain and will never have the opportunity to further appreciate his countless gifts, he will forever be remembered for his fun-loving spirit, athleticism, and his beautiful smile.
Trey attended St. Marys area schools and had many friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, sports, and simply driving around listening to music. Horses and other animals provided comfort for him, and these bonds helped him through his recent struggles. He was a welcoming person with a big heart, and he impacted many lives. During his volunteering for the Special Olympics, he formed friendships with many of the athletes, who will greatly miss his non-judgmental love for them. Ultimately, though, the challenges of life were too much for him to endure.
A visitation will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Kersey on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 11:00 AM with the Pastor Erik Hart of Maria Lutheran presiding.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Turn-About Ranch Foundation, 5093 S 1500 W, Riverdale, UT 84405, or the PA Titan Wrestling Club, c/o Adam Resch, 128 Reserve Rd, St. Marys, PA 15857.

I am very sorry for your loss. Trey was an unbelievable kid. Always so respectful and sweet. My son, Shane, and Trey were in elementary school together and remained good friends after our family moved to NC in 2012. We make a point of traveling up to St Marys every August to visit family and friends and the past few years Trey spent the trip with us. I got to know him as a kind, gentle young man. We looked forward to seeing him each year. I feel grateful that I had the chance to get to know him. He will forever be missed.
Aunt MIMI was my father’s cousin. I did not know Amy that well but Uncle Tom and the CNY & Western NY family, sends their sympathies to the family in St. Mary’s, PA. ELK COUNTY. ps Daisy is also the name of my niece’s harrier beagle.

So very sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I would see Trey every day in building construction and he was always friendly and smiling. Sadly we never know the struggles kids are having and they often don’t share them with us. I wish you as much peace as possible in this terrible time. Know that he was very well liked and will surely be missed by many. May he rest in peace and suffer no more.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I knew Trey when he was in wrestling with my nephew. He was a very nice boy. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. You all have my most sincere condolences.
