Thomas P. Hogan | 80

February 26, 1941 - January 13, 2022

Thomas P. Hogan, 80, of St. Marys, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born February 26, 1941, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Paul and Rose Donnelly Hogan. He attended Central Catholic High School and Peabody High School in Pittsburgh and had been a resident of St. Marys since 1978. Tom was a retired employee of Metco Industries, retiring in 2009.

On February 23, 1963, in St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Pittsburgh, Tom married Beverly A. Uhernick, who preceded him in death on November 9, 2005.

He is survived by four daughters: Kelly Livermore (Rich) of Butler; Tiffany Hogan (Frank Davis) of Butler; Jodi Hogan (Keith Spong) of St. Marys; and Beverly Bradnick (Rich) of Fayetteville, PA; two sons: Thomas Hogan (Lynn) of St. Marys and Christopher Hogan (Erika) of Kittanning; 16 grandchildren: Sonya Magoon (Jared), Paula Lubanovic (Rich), Nichole Hogan (Saad), Thomas Hogan, Jonathon Livermore, Jordan Davis, Brodie Davis, Carley Spong, Cheyanne Spong, Chase Hogan, Megan Coons (Tucker), Sarah Bradnick, Madisyn Bradnick, Jackson Hogan, Avery Hogan, and Sophia Hogan; 12 great-grandchildren; his brother, Terry Hogan (Kathy) of Pittsburgh; his brother-in-law, Rege Heil of Pittsburgh; two sisters-in-law: Sandra Wilhelm of St. Marys and Beth Hogan of Pittsburgh; and by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Paulette Heil; and by a brother, Richard Hogan.

Tom was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving 1958-1962, during the Vietnam Era, and was a member of the American Legion. Tom loved sharing stories, adventures, and history with his family. He enjoyed going to Kay Fork Camp and was the CFO of “WE” construction. He was an avid sports fan, and his favorite teams were those of his grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 12:00 PM, with the Rev. Peter Augustine Pierjok, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Full military rites will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen’s Burial Detail. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday morning, from 10:00 until 11:30 AM.
