Patricia A. Selle, 90, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of Bucktail Road, St. Marys, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at Pinecrest Manor.
She was born January 3, 1934, in St. Marys, daughter of the late William and Marcella Bille Dippold. She was a lifelong resident of St. Marys, a graduate of Central Catholic High School, and a former employee of Airco Speer.
On April 25, 1959, in the Queen of the World Church, she married the late, Glenn G. Selle, who preceded her in death on March 29, 2006.
Patty is survived by a daughter, Renee Trgovac (Chris) of St. Marys; a son, Patrick Selle (Lisa) of Lake City; three grandchildren: Tricia Wonderling (James), Heather Selle (Jay Fox), and Brenton Trgovac; four great-grandchildren: Lilly, Kaleb, Skyler, and Hailey; three sisters: Mary Andrus of Emporium, Carol Carr of St. Marys, and Molly Glatt of St. Marys; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Patty was preceded in death five sisters: Florence McGill, Laura Vollmer, Vera Siegel, Norma Baker, and Kathleen Young; and four brothers: Clarence, Ralph, Gilbert “Gib”, and Dennis Dippold.
Patricia was a parishioner of Queen of the World Church. She enjoyed Bingo and Texas Hold’em. She was a generous person, always giving to special causes, especially to the Children’s Hospitals. Family was most important for Patty. She found great joy spending time with her children, grandchildren, and certainly her sisters. She will be missed.
A funeral service for Patricia will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 12:30PM with Rev. Jeffery Noble officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 11:30AM until the time of service.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, 763 Johnsonburg Road, St. Marys, PA 15857.
So sorry for your loss Renee. I know how hard it is to lose your Mom. You, Chris, & Brenton have my sympathy.
