Nancy was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1962. She was an employee of the former Stackpole Carbon Company before becoming an employee of Contact Technologies Inc. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Donna Reeser and her husband Jeffrey of St. Marys; three sons: Rodney Wykoff (Sandy Gavrock) of Olive Branch, MS; Roger N. Nancy loved her family and was a wonderful grandmother, going above and beyond for her grandchildren. She was always a supportive person and would often take food into Contact Technologies to feed everyone. She enjoyed traveling out of state to see her children and going on trips to Las Vegas to gamble with her sister-in-law, Toy Shadd. Nancy also loved horseback riding, her pets, and going out to eat with her high school classmates.
There will be no visitation.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Kevin Holland officiating.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Elk County Humane Society, 1029 East Eschbach Road, St. Marys, PA 15857.
Still in shock at her sudden death . We were planning to get together very soon. We both had new dogs and wanted to share stories. Nancy was my oldest friend. We were born in the same year, same month, just 13 days apart. She so loved her childhood growing up in the neighborhood and always had stories I had long forgotten.
She certainly loved her pets, family and friends and will be missed. I’d say Rest In Peace but if I know Nancy, she’s already in heaven meeting and greeting and seeing what’s on the agenda and busy as ever.
So sorry for your loss. You all are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Dean, Mary, & Ryan Hanes
I am so saddened by Nancy’s passing. She was good friends with my mother, but also a friend to me. She was always kind to me and I enjoyed listening to her and my mom talk about the good old days! She will certainly be missed. My sincere condolences to the family
My memories of Nancy are special. We were the same height so in church processions we were often paired. Somehow I felt a special bond as we do with so many classmates from 1962 at Central. Nancy, may you have eternal rest and peace. Keep you beautiful smile. With love, Ginny Wehler aka Sr Marian
Nancy…Kim and I loved you dearly…..especially me….you were a very special friend to me and that’s why I nicknamed you my PA. Mom….I will miss you popping in the shop to say hi and bringing me leak dip……R.I.P. My PA. Mom
Nancy was always a special person to me. She was a great lady. I will miss her. So sorry to hear this, she is definitely an angel up there. One that is in charge I’m sure. love and hugs to family
To the Wykoff family, I am so very sorry for your loss and my prayers and thoughts are with you. I haven’t seen Nancy in a year but I still remember all of our talks and laughs as we discussed how we were related and family history. She was a really great person and was so easy to talk to. She had a witty personality and made me laugh. I will miss her but know that she is up there bullshitting with all of our relatives.
It is with a very heavy heart I write this. Nancy was very special to me, I will miss her so much.
I am so sorry for your loss, my deepest sympathies are with all of you during this difficult time.
