  8. Smoke and Cathy, we are extremely sad to hear about Matt. Our son Nate was in his class at ECC. They were friends. Nate ran into him many times after graduation. Matt was such a nice guy. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. May Matt rest easy now. 🙏❤️

  9. John, so sorry for this tragic loss. May God watch over you and your family during this trying time.

  10. I have so many awesome memories of Matt! Him playing numerous sports with my son, coming to our home, him laughing, hanging out, always polite and fun to be around. Seeing Matt several years ago he was still the polite, caring young man. We hugged, said our hellos and he held the door for me at a convenience store. I’m very blessed to have known Matt. My heart is very sad and to his family, may God be with all of you. ❤️

  11. My heart breaks for Matt’s family and friends. He was a great kid who had so much potential. May he finally have found the peace he needed.
