She was born November 5, 1946, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Wilfred and Katherine Fritz Weichman. Marlene was a graduate of Elk County Christian High School, Class of 1964. She was a tremendous cook and many enjoyed her cooking and her company where she was chef and manager at various local restaurants in the area.
On August 3, 1984, in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Marlene married the late Charles D. “Chuck” Klaiber, who preceded her in death on August 16, 2013.

In addition to her husband and parents, Marlene was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Riemer.
Marlene was a devout Catholic and member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Faith and family were most important to her and always welcomed a house full of people. She loved to be outdoors camping or surrounded by family and friends around a backyard fire. A hobby she picked up later in life was bird watching out her kitchen window. She enjoyed her time spent with family and friends especially when they were together playing Bingo, games during family gatherings or gambling at the casino. She will be missed.
Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 3, 2022.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, February 4, 2022, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Peter Augustine Pierjok, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

To Marlene’s family, I am very sorry about your mom passing away. I always enjoyed her coming to my shop, or me going to her house and our visits we had while I would do her hair. She was a wonderful person and I know she loved her family very, very much, as she always talked about all of you, and Chuck. My prayers, thoughts, and sympathy for all of you. I am so sorry that I was unable to attend her funeral. Please know that I was thinking and praying for you all.
I met your mom @ the 3 sons. Quickly became friends with both her & Chuck. Eventually we started to work together. At the sons & Bavarian Hills. She was so much fun. I will treasure my memories of her. May God help you all thru the sad sad time. I am writing this, with a heavy heart. I was planning on coming to the visitation. But I live on a private road & almost slid into tree coming home from work. So I’m scared to go out again. But please know your whole family is in my heart & prayers.
My favorite memory is a most recent one. Having my mom meet her great granddaughters in person was such a blessing. They will get to know her via the love and the things she taught me.
Kenny, Tammy, Lynn, Tracy and families I am speechless for words right now. Marlene sure loved you all and she was a great mom and my best friend. We are gonna miss her so very much. I am so glad she is out of pain now and at peace with the LORD. I’m sure she is happy to be with Chuck and Ashley. My heart is broken and aches so bad. We will pray for Peace and Comfort for all of you. Love you all very much.
So sorry for your loss ,God Bless your family in your hour of need. It is so very hard to lose our loved ones. They are at peace with God.
Hold your loved ones tight and rejoice in all the loving memories that God allowed you to share ..🙏🏻🙏🏻
